One of the favorite activities for the kids was playing with instruments. Granddaddy has a large collection of instruments that the kids loved to get into. We even had a little jam time on Saturday night!

One of Emma and Grace's favorite instruments was the maracas. Good thing there were two of them!
Cousins dancing away to the music. For some reason Emma thought it was necessary to carry around this baggie of trash while she was dancing. Don't ask why!
Our other favorite thing at the lake was our new wagon. Emma got this two seater wagon for her birthday. It has seatbelts, cupholders, and a storage compartment. And obviously, room for three children as proven by the picture below. Shortly after this picture was taken Emma started pulling Grace's ponytail-she wants some of that hair and Jacob decided to bail out-the girls were just to much!
Even baby cousin Reagan joined in the wagon fun. 
The wagon was great for bringing the girls down to the boat. 
Emma is learning to use the wagon door. She would rather you just put her in than her have to climb in by herself!
We really enjoyed our long weekend at the lake but there were a few things that were not enjoyed by all. The girls pretty much hated their life jackets. There was a major meltdown by Emma when we put the life vest on. To say the least, no pictures were taken because of the meltdown! Also, the lake house is two stories-unlike our house. We may or may not have learned a hard lesson about stairs this weekend. It may or may not have resulted in carpet burn-on our forehead! No major injuries-a little carpet burn never hurt anyone!Just thought this one was cute-Happy short week everyone!
