The Adventures of Glitter/Sparkle

Just a brief overview of our Elf Glitter/Sparkle's fun times this Christmas.  The elf changed names about half way through the season!  

Emma's Wrapping

The other night Bradley was wrapping some presents and Emma wanted to help.  I have no idea what are in these boxes but they are already my favorite.  She worked so hard to label them.  It is possible I will keep this wrapping-just to remember it!

This year I bought rolls of craft paper and bought each person a type of ribbon.  Of course, I forgot to buy myself a ribbon so Bradley had to fend for himself when wrapping my gifts.  I am just proud of him wrapping them as he usually uses bags!

Collierville Christmas Parade

Our town has an annual Christmas Parade.  We have taken Emma in the past but never Anna Claire.  Last year it was just too cold to get her out so we didn't go.  I think you can tell by the pictures that she loved every minute.  She was amazed at each entry that went by and waved at them like they were waving straight to her!  Emma's favorite of the parade was still any of the bands that went by. 

 Daddy Mac got the girls these light saber things.  They were a hit-until AC did something and her's stopped working.  Emma's has since stopped working-sorry Daddy Mac!

 We brought the wagon out this year.  Best idea ever!  Much easier to pull the wagon than hold one girl each.

Pictures in the Park

A few weeks ago I met my sister at this little park in Germantown to take some pictures.  She was trying to get a Christmas card picture.  The girls had lots of fun exploring in the park and we got to stay for awhile but then they hit a wall and all of them fell apart!  No good pictures of all three of them, in fact below is the only picture of all three.

 We tried to get AC and Campbell together in this chair but AC threw put on her sad face-her new thing-when Campbell got in there

Shuffling

So original and long time followers of this blog might remember some funny blog posts I made about 3 years ago when Emma was on a dance kick.  Well, three years later and she stills likes to dance.  We even dance in the car and we have gotten little sister involved.  These are good-the last one is the best!







Yes, Emma has some ninja dance moves in that last one!

Weekends at the River

Now that it has gotten a little cooler, we have gotten to have a few fires over at the river.  I looked out the window a few weekends ago and saw AC roasting some hot dogs with Daddy Mac.  I am sure shortly after this she enjoyed eating that hot dog as well since she is my kid that actually eats meat!  

The girls love going over to the river, at least that is what Emma says.  AC can't really say it but she seems happy.  A few weeks ago we were getting ready to leave and Emma ask me if next time she was there she could fish with Daddy Mac.  Of course I told her she could but I thought it was so funny that she asked to do that since about every time we are there she says she is going to fish and stays down there less than 5 minutes and gets board.  I think one time she was at the dock and Bradley caught a fish and she got upset that he took it out of the water so she left!  We don't really have high hopes of her becoming a world class fisher!

Cousins

These three have so much fun together.  Since they are all getting a little older we have had a few sleepovers lately!  One night Campbell stayed over with us and then AC went to sleep over at Campbell's house next.  It is pretty amazing how they really all play pretty well together.  I am sure there will come a time when someone starts getting left out because it always seems like 3 is a crowd, especially when it comes to little girls! For right now the two littles seem happy to follow around Emma and she wouldn't have it any other way.
