Just a few pictures from after our bath tonight.

Have you ever wondered what a 3 month old does at work?

She watches cartoons in her granddaddy's office.

But don't worry, we don't let her sit that close to the TV too long. In fact, she gets bored of the TV pretty quickly.

We build tents on the Pack N Play.

But we don't go to sleep, that would be too easy!

We roll around on the floor and play with toys.

And finally we play so much that we fall asleep with our toys!

Sorry that Emma has no pants on in these last pictures. She wore her jeans today and apparently, her jeans do not allow her to grab onto her feet-which is her new favorite activity.

Hot August Blues

This past weekend we went to the lake and went to the Hot August Blue Fest with Cindy, Stan and Mike Earps. This is a music fest about an hour from the house at KenLake State Park. I know the pictures aren't great but we anchored the boat right off the shore and listened to the music all day long. There were tons of boats and alot of people just hanging out in the water. The water was alittle colder than it has been so Emma did not want to get in. So instead she just hung out in the shade under the steering wheel. We made her a pallet and she played with her feet.

And tried to cool off by drinking some water. Just kidding, she just played with the bottle.


We can't wait to go back to the lake this weekend to celebrate Bradley's birthday.

I will post more about our weekend tonight, but I wanted to add this video. Emma just started rolling over this morning and I captured this short video.

Happy Birthday Gaines

I know we are a few days early but we would like to say "Happy Birthday" to Gaines. His birthday is really on Saturday but we are leaving for the lake tomorrow and will have no internet service to send him his picture on his really birthday.

Stealing Dad's Chair

This past Christmas Bradley got a leather recliner for his big present. It was supposed to be a surprise, but some how he guessed before hand-but that is another story. I got him the recliner because I knew he would love watching football in it and also I knew he would be able to rock the baby in it also. I must admit I really love the recliner also! Well so does Emma. She is getting so much better about sitting up. The other night we sat her down in the chair and she just stayed sitting up and starting laughing. It was like she knew she was stealing her dad's seat.



So, of course our picture crazy dog, Cassidy, couldn't resist jumping in the chair later to see if we would take pictures of her. I don't know how she does it but she has ruined lots of pictures of Emma because as soon as we go to take Emma's picture here comes Cassidy to jump in the picture. Maybe because before we had Emma we were always taking pictures of Cassidy.


This chair was suppose to be off limits to our dogs-but as you can tell that didn't work very well! At least she warms the seat up for you before you tell her to get down so you can sit down.

Emma 3 months

Emma turned 3 months old on Friday.

Tired of taking pictures...so she decided to eat her sign!

Of course Delilah and Cassidy couldn't miss out on getting their pictures taken. Cassidy loves to smile for the camera!

Emma at Work and My New Camera

I went back to work about a month ago and got to take Emma with me. She is a great baby at work and I am able to get my work done. I have lots of help with her since her Honey and Granddaddy are at the office to give her lots of love. Here are some pictures that I took of her today. She is playing with her mirror-she loves to talk to the baby in the mirror. She also likes to sit in her Bumbo on top of my desk while I work.


Below are two pictures I took with my new camera. It has a function where you can focus in on one color and that color will show up in the picture and everything else is black and white. In the first picture I picked for green to show up and in the second picture I picked skin color to show up.

My Birthday

This past weekend we celebrated my birthday. Unfortunately, I only have pictures from Sunday night. My old digital camera died so I got a new one for my birthday but did not have it in time to take pictures of all of the festivities. I love the new camera and the pictures turn out so clear. It is a Canon and it has a Kid/Pet setting that helps take clear pictures with moving objects.
On Friday we celebrated at El Porton with our friends. Emma spent the night at my parents and we had a very fun night out!
On Saturday night we went to Bradley's parents to cook out. Stan cooked out steaks from Charlie's Meat Market, Mrs. Cindy made wonderful BBQ Shrimp appetizer, and Taylor made a heavenly chocolate dessert!
On Sunday we went to the Melting Pot with my parents. It was another great meal! Since it takes about 3 hours to eat a whole fondue meal there, we had lots of time for pictures with the new camera.
