Little Red Corvette-Take 2

The red Combi car has made it appearance in our house again.  It had been residing in my parent's attic for a few years but it was time to get it out again.  Anna Claire's neck is getting much stronger and she is really enjoying being able to get some different points of view from sitting in the car.  Oh and of course big sister Emma is loving playing with the car as well!  The seat folds in and it can be pushed around so that is what Emma has been doing-we had to tell her that she was too big to sit in the seat.

The Actual Birthday

Sunday was Emma's actual birthday, however she really thought it was on Saturday...I think that is kinda a hard concept for a 3 year old to get.  We had a party for you but it wasn't really on your birthday!!
We let Emma pick what she wanted to eat for breakfast and what she wanted to wear (her pajamas-ha!).  After breakfast we had pictures taken of the girls at our house.  This was the first time to have both of them photographer together and I can't wait to see what Ragan captured.  We always get great results with her.

3rd Birthday

I will go ahead and say that I love to plan birthday parties!  I don't know what it is but I really get into them.  This year's theme for Emma's party was bikes.  She loves to play outside-give her anything with wheels and she can have a good time.  

The first part of my planning was the invitations and other paper products.  For awhile now I have been using DoodleBugs Paper for my note cards, waterproof labels, etc.  If you have never checked out her website-leave here now and go!  Seriously, sooo cute!  I worked with Kacey about my bike idea and she came up with the invites, address labels, favor stickers and note cards. 

 I am not going to write about every picture because I put alot on here but luckily the weather held off and we had a great party.  We were so blessed to have so many family members and friends join us to celebrate.  Being a bike party and all Emma got a new bike and scooter-both Disney Princess!

 I was really happy my grandmother and Bob traveled over to celebrate.  I don't think I had gotten a good picture of my grandmother with Anna Claire yet.

 The cake came from Costco-it tasted awesome, everyone loved it and it was very reasonably priced-you can't ask for more!

 Barbies were a big hit!

12 Weeks

I know I am behind on this week's picture.  In fact, Anna Claire will be 3 months tomorrow! Here is our 12 week picture.  Not much new this week.  She is still sleeping pretty good during the night-I feel like she is staying awake more during the day.  This is going to be my last month at work with her-she goes to school in June.  I will be sad to not see her as much during the day but I know I will get more done and I think she will have fun at school.  She is really into looking around at things going on around her-and I am sure there will be plenty going on at school!

I will try to keep up with the blog but the next few weeks are going to be busy.  Emma's birthday is coming up in less than two weeks and I am busy getting ready.  I can't wait to share all the fun things we have planned!
