What she learned today...

Emma said they learned about the Mayflower at school today. This is how she explained it:
The king wouldn't let them pray so they got on the Mayflower and came to the America island. The Indians let them pray. The king was mad. Families went on the ship together.
It amazes me what she picks up on. I wanted to be able to remember this explanation. Not everything was correct,take America being an island, but I think she got the basic idea.

Looking Back

Well that is some resourceful reuse of clothes.  I made Emma that pillowcase dress for her first birthday and the other day she decided to wear it as a shirt!  I can't believe how much she has changed.  She amazes me each day of how much she learns and picks up.

Fall Pictures

Last weekend we had lunch at my parent's house and took the opportunity to take some pictures of the girls outside.  We had decent cooperation!  

 Cute baby Campbell!  Emma keeps telling Anna Claire that Campbell is going to be her best friend!
