Christmas Lunch

After breakfast at the Bond house we headed over to my parents for some more celebrations and Christmas lunch. We were lucky enough to have my grandmother and her husband drive over from Arkansas to join us. We traveled there for Thanksgiving so she drives here on Christmas.
After lots of playing on cousin Grace's kitchen, Emma got to Daddy Mac and MiMi's and there was a kitchen for her! Some how I manage to not get a picture of her playing with the kitchen there. She played with it most of the time we were over there-she cooked up a storm.
She got shopping carts and plastic food.
You can never have too many shopping carts, right? I think we will probably take one to work. At one point she tried to push both of them at the same time. She totally loved her kitchen but I think she loved the purse and wallet that CiCi gave her just as much. My sister gave Emma an old wallet and filled it with old gift cards and various coupons and receipts to make it fill like the real thing-because she LOVES to empty our wallets!
Emma actually laid down and took a short nap while we ate lunch. It was nice to be able to enjoy the adult conversation and not be rushed through the meal. Also while she was sleeping Bradley took the opportunity to pack up the car. It was so funny to see her when she woke up looking for the toys that she had left when she went down and they were no longer there!
This is a picture from after we got home. We probably got home around 4ish and Emma played in her playroom until 7:30. We barely heard a word from her unless it was to feed us something. I brought her picnic table inside and let her set at that and serve her food. She served herself and her babies all night long.
After she went to bed I finished unpacking and putting away everything and decided i would open her pack of play food. It was great because when she got up this morning it was something totally new to play with. I think tomorrow morning we will pull out the Cozy Coupe car!
FYI...my little girl thinks that ice cream belongs in her purse. We got ready to go to a friend's house today and she wanted to bring her purse. When we looked inside her purse contained her wallet, cell phone and 4 ice cream cones!!!
