Photo Shoots

I remember when Emma was a baby I used to love to have photo sessions with her.  I would dress her up in all her cute little clothes and take pictures.  I am glad I did because now I have lots of pictures of her as a baby, and let's be honest...she usually only gets to wear those outfits once or twice anyway!  I had a little photo shoot with Anna Claire the other day.  Since Emma went to bed tonight at 6pm I have had time to play with the pictures on photo shop.  I think I ended up with some pretty good ones!

I had to end up kicking Delilah out of the room because she kept wanting to get her picture taken.  Every time I moved to get her out of the picture, she would get back in front of the camera.

 I love that we are starting to get some smiles!

3 weeks

Anna Claire turned three weeks old on Friday.  We don't go back to the doctor for another appointment until 2 months so I don't have any updated stats. 

At the beginning of the week I made myself a do to list of things I wanted to get accomplished while I was home.  Most of these are things I have been saying I wanted to take care of but I just haven't had time.  I am happy to report this week I was able to mark many of the items off the list. This week I was able to finish all my thank you notes, sent out announcements, formatted and ordered my 2008 printed blog book (yeah, I am that behind!),got Easter dresses' for the girls, and scheduled our infant pictures.  Can't wait to see what I can get done next week.  However, it is getting a little harder because Anna Claire seems to be staying awake more during the day so I don't have as much free time!

We ventured to the river this weekend.  Bradley has been dying to use his Christmas presents-his fly fishing equipment.  I would say our first trip with both girls was successful-even though we had to take about half of our house and there was still stuff that we forgot!  All in all Anna Claire was a good traveler.  We have a back seat passenger that constantly gives us a report on the baby.  We hear "Anna Claire's eyes are closed, She lost her passy, Anna Claire is crying", etc.

Probably the question I get ask the most right now is "How is Emma doing?".  I think this picture gives a good answer...she wants to be around Anna Claire all of the time.  The other day Emma got a new carseat for my car and she had to sit in it by Anna Claire while we ate dinner.  It worked pretty good and she sat there the whole time...maybe we should try this more often!

I have to say that Emma is not the only person in the house that loves to be around Anna Claire...

2 Weeks

We had our two week appointment on Friday. 
Weight: 7lbs 8 oz (40th percentile)
Height: 20 1/4 inches (40th percentile)
Head: 50th percentile

The doctor said everything looked great and we will go back at 2 months!
